01 Material Profile

material description

GATORFOAM° is an laminated sandwich- construction. Consists of an extruded polystyrene core laminated to two resin impregnated faces (proprietary technology). The sheet is not flame retardant. The foam shows no waterabsorption, only in cut cells. The layer is not resistent against water/humidity.

- The hard yet smooth surface on front and back sides ensures high quality direct printing and mounting applications
- The rigid extruded polystyrene core provides dimensional stability without adding excessive weight
- The laminated "Sandwich" construction guarantees an exceptional panel stiffness which increases with the thickness of the panel
- The "bright white" surface which was especially designed for direct printing applications enhances the image quality
- Wide range of thicknesses (using thicker panels adds depth and visual appeal to 3D displays and signs)
