01 product description
Product description
Reynolux® is a prepainted aluminium sheet or coil manufactured through the coil-coating process. Unlike powder coating, this process allows for the application of one or more layers of coating, all in uniform quality and with no colour deviation between different delivery batches. Reynolux® is a tremendously versatile product. It is suitable for roofs, facade cladding and many other interior and exterior applications. Reynolux® can be used in new construction as well as for refurbishment. Reynolux® opens up creative possibilities in a market segment that far too often moves no further than the standard options. It can also be coated with in a unique palette of colours through our coil coating systems. The outstanding physical and chemical characteristics of the coatings give Reynolux® an extraordinary resistance to UV rays and good weather protection. Reynolux® can be fabricated without problems using standard machine processes like cutting, profiling, folding, bending, pressing, drilling and sawing. Joining can also be accomplished through standard means like screws, rivets, glue and folding. Reynolux® is primarily shaped in the workshop.

· Convincing product benefits:
Lightweight, high bending stiffness and flatness, little expansion, highly resistant to weathering and warping, can be used in a variety of ways and is easy to install.
Other benefits can be achieved by combining Reynolux® with our aluminium composite panel Reynobond®, such as absolute equality of shade in both products, since they come from the same coil-coating line. This allows you to achieve a standard exterior using two materials, which, in turn, provides cost benefits in terms of purchasing and maintenance.
Coating
You can choose between four colour systems with Reynobond® and Reynolux®:
DURAGLOSS® was developed by us as a high-performance coating based on polymer resin. It offers serious resistance to wear and tear, salt, moisture, and UV rays. DURAGLOSS® comes in gloss levels of 3 % to 80 % (by comparison: only 20 % to 30 % with PVDF). Many of the colours are also available with surfaces in a powder-coated look. Your technical advisor can help you with questions on which gloss levels can be used with certain colours.
Naturally, DURAGLOSS® is not just available in every RAL colour – it can be mixed any individual shade required. There is a choice from special surfaces, such as Antique Copper, Zinc, Chameleon Colours, Wood and Granite Design.
All DURAGLOSS® coatings are, in accordance with current needs, available as special solutions for specific usages as Anti-Graffiti, Anti-Scratch and Easy-Clean.
PVDF 70/30 coating: This coating is considered the standard for high-performance coatings in the construction industry, mainly on account of its durability. It is ideally suited to aggressive environments and extreme climatic conditions.
Polyester coating: This coating is very flexible and highly resistant to weather conditions. An extensive range of colours is available.
Polyamid coating: All the benefits of polyester plus outstanding scratch resistance.
