01 Material Profile

Warping
Our own warping department in Wuppertal and Laa offers great flexibility towards our customers. Delivery times can be kept short in serial production as well as for special warps for custom-made sampling. Yarn quality is checked electronically in this very first step of production.

Weaving and Warp-knitting
With more than 120 weaving and warp-knitting machines we are producing more than 70 million meters of tape a year. The maximum width is 360 mm. In our air-conditioned production we have equipment with ultimate roll-length for most efficient production of our standard products as well as sample machines with highest flexibility in terms of bindings and materials used to create a new tape. Our specialty since many years is the combination of synthetic and conductive, i.e. metallic, materials. For this purpose we built our own machine sections in our machine design department.

Finishing
In this department we can add any non-solvent finish to our tapes. One of our favourites is our special SuperLubri-finish offering superior anti-adhesion characteristics. There are also standard heat-setting processes and in addition the possibility of pre-shrinking Nylon tapes in a unique way.
