Product description
We have a new material for our Tension range: CCLor colour compact laminate. This hard-wearing material is made of a hard paper core which is coloured white with melamine resin. A white laminate surface is applied to the outside. This is an especially high-quality material for the construction of furniture which has been specifically developed for conmoto. CCL is not suitable for outdoor use.
The starting point for our design was the idea of connecting both slightly outward-splayed legs of this large table and bench with a solid wooden bar for stability. We opted a crafted wedge construction, in order to firmly anchor the bar and the legs. The result was not only a “tense” shape in the literal sense, but also an interesting contrast of materials: Together, the very flat HPL material and the solid teak wood give off a great appearance!
