The new DS-144 side table is a round, subtle addition that complements the sculptural, eccentric contours of the lounge chair. It offers a conscious counterpoint to the versatile shape of the chair, with attenuated edges on the circular wooden table top generating a minimalist, understated effect. It echoes the visual metaphors of the underframes. Walnut and oak are new additions to this product line. The table – as with the chair – can feature in several individual arrangements, e.g. as a side table for a lone piece of furniture, or as a focal point for a group of lounge chairs.
