Over the millennia, nature creates steatite: an ollar stone which is extremely workable yet compact and offers technical and aesthetic qualities that were until now impossible to reproduce in a man-made material. Vuolukivi is sold in the form of slabs of man-made porcelain stoneware conveying a sensation of calm, warmth and primitive power, opening up new frontiers for sustainable architecture.
