01 product description
Product description
The range of round recessed ceiling luminaires with LEDs includes downlights, washlights, double washlights, lens wallwashers and directional luminaires. LEDs excel due to their exceptionally high energy efficiency and low IR and UV radiation. They are comparable with metal halide lamps in terms of luminous efficacy, while being dimmable and capable of hot restart. Due to their reduced operating costs, LEDs are a cost-efficient option of illuminating even sensitive exhibits or products without damage. The current LEDs, especially in warm white and with 4-channel varychrome technology, achieve an excellent colour rendition. Light colours for single-colour versions include warm white and daylight white, and for coloured luminaires, the RGB colour mixing technology. The DALI-compatible luminaires have digital control gear which can address each luminaire individually - for instance using the ERCO Light System DALI with its integral ERCO Light Studio software.

Putting transparency and monumentality in the right light
With the sweeping lines of its roof, the new airport building near Montevideo in Uruguay celebrates the aesthetics of aviation - and its lighting concept celebrates its powerful architecture.
Not becoming invisible but rendering visible
"Light is a medium that is not visible, but that renders things visible," is one of the key ideas that Erco tries to realize, a company that has traditionally focused on our perception of light.
Multitalented Undercover Agents
Today, façades do more than merely provide a building with an external boundary or adorn it with an attractive envelope. Above all where energy efficiency is concerned, the function of the façade itself is evolving. And when lighting is allowed to enhance a room without the source of the light getting in the way, the things we are not forced to see become perceptible.
