Product description
At first glance you might think that Febrü has made its Sox desking range wear “socks”. Closer inspection reveals that this is more than just a design feature – these “socks” are in fact part of an innovative design engineering solution for height-adjusting desks. Febrü makes Sox desk legs play an important, non-visible technical role. The “socks”-facilitated innovation is to be found in the 16mm-thick table top’s practical height-adjustment function, which enables the desk top to be simply height-adjusted from 680 to 820 mm in increments of 20 mm. Sox desks feature a range of widths and a choice of two depths - 800 and 1000 mm. Desks can feature an overhang on one or both sides. And to provide corner solutions, a 600mm-deep desk add-on can be docked on at an angle of 90° to form a return. Cable clips on the “socks” perform a cable management function. The design of the drawer units systematically perpetuates Sox’s linearity and identity. Mobile and stationary pedestals feature no-handle, slightly overhanging fronts. The table top is supported at two points on each upper lateral frame section, creating the impression that the top is floating. The streamlined lateral frames consist of an upper base section, available in 4 colours (matt powder-coated) and the socks, available in 15 colour finishes (glossy powder-coated plus stainless steel and chrome).
