01 product description
A high-performance gas hob of Gaggenau's series 200, extremely practical and extraordinarily beautiful. With top quality down to the last detail, like all gas hobs from Gaggenau, the VG 232 has a deep-set stainless steel cooking surface to avoid spill over.
Complements the 30 cm Vario 200 series
The two burners offer a power range from 380 W up to 2800 W and a precise regulation of heat output, as in professional kitchens. The VG 232 features one high-output 560-2800 Watt burner and one standard burner offering 380-1900 Watts, and the finely controlled power settings make sure, that there is always the optimum heating level for all cooking methods and any quantity of ingredients.
SuperQuick electric and safety thermocouple ignition
Depress and hold the appropriate control knob and then release it once the gas is alight - ignition could hardly be simpler. A thermoelectric safety pilot keeps the gas burning during cooking and automatically blocks the gas supply once the flame is out.
Robust cast pan support with special enamel coating
The pan support is designed for large and small pans alike. The support is generously proportioned and provides enough free space for you to slide a pan off the heat without having to worry about it tipping over or slipping off.
Superfine gas regulation technology gives you precise control over the gas supply and power output. Control is continuous but four noticeable steps as you rotate the control knob provide guidance as to the power level selected.
Multifuel gas appliance
All Gaggenau's gas hobs, including the wok burner, are multifuel gas appliances and will operate with any gas fuel.
Aluminium hob cover
After use, the appliance can be neatly tucked away under a glass shot-blasted aluminium hob cover, which is linked to the hob frame with hinges. Before closing the cover, the cast pan support has to be removed.

imm Cologne Part 3
The imm cologne furniture fair is currently making a comeback, not just thanks to efforts being made to once again provide dedicated labels and manufacturers with a sophisticated platform, but also because of its grand new kitchen show, "Living Kitchen". While experienced trade fair visitors may have wondered what the name referred to ("the kitchen is alive" or perhaps "living the kitchen"?) one thing is clear: Kitchens are the new hot topic that electrifies professional visitors and the general public alike.
