Product description
Thanks to their reflective properties and extreme ductility, copper and its alloys are the ideal materials for the formal and visual experiments of Front. The inventive Swedish trio composed of Anna Lindgren, Sofia Lagerkvist and Charlotte von der Lancken have designed for KME an intimate, charmingly retro lamp characterized by curved forms in movement that bring to mind the illustrious archetypes of Scandinavian design. In this case, the KME Design Classic surface is shaped to create a finely pleated lampshade that elegantly wraps around the linear illuminated core inside, realized with a simple and essential structure. The resulting light, delicate and suffused, captures the colored reflections of the metal and is enriched by the effects generated by the shad which, almost like fabric, demonstrates the extraordinary malleability of the material.
