Product description

The theorem of subtraction; a table with a silhouette which is apparently a single line. Yet again, Jean Nouvel has played with air and with construction technology. A metal table the strength of which lies in a play on corners and folds. Designed for the Fondation Cartier, Less is now a complete range of tables, low and high, rectangular and square. The classic lacquered version has now been joined by Less Light with its innovative aluminium structure covered with precious wood tops.

In the case of Molteni & C, with a payroll of 250 the family business has long since reached corporate size, and is one of the most important manufacturers in the furniture industry. Its history is typical of such firms.
