Even in retrospect no one really knows which grouping was actually in the majority. Was it the architects or the manufacturers? Was it the curators or the agents? And so where exactly were the designers? Oops, in the kitchen of course... Not that it really matters anyhow, as they’re all polymaths who set things in motion this way or that.

Be that as it may, this year once again on the evening of a marvelous Monday at the fair, any number of bright lights from the world of luminaires flocked to Robert Volhard’s place at the kind invitation of AD and Stylepark – and certainly not only chatted about light, luminaires and smart housing technologies. As is always the case at such relaxed and fun events, conversation more or less addressed everything under the sun. Best of all, simply take a look and see whom you recognize. (tw)
