The lighting objects created by British designer Paul Cocksedge entail highly artistic processes that cast the very principles of light into question. He experiments with Gin Tonic and light tones, or for example, with a flower vase that, if a flower is placed in it and leans against the metal edge, triggers an invisible circuit and thus turns on the lamp in the base of the vase. Yesterday Paul Cocksedge has lectured on his view of light at The Design Annual - inside: showtime, presenting the intentions and methods that he brings to bear in his constant inquiry into light and luminaires.
