Wonderful World
by Daniel von Bernstorff | May 29, 2007

The young Spaniard Jaime Hayon is currently one of the most dazzling figures in the international design scene. Without taking existing styles into account, he drew the attention of the crowds and was omnipresent in Milan. Be it with his over-sized objects for the glass mosaic manufacturer Bisazza, his already legendary bathroom collection for the Spanish firm Artquitect, the Showtime series for Bd Ediciones or his contribution to Swarovski's monumental show "Crystal Palace", at the moment no-one is getting past Hayon. Incidentally, he is a member of the advisory council at „The Design Annual – inside: private identity“ and will thus be showing a further example of his sheer inexhaustible creativity from 14-17 June at the Festhalle in Frankfurt.
