With friends at the table, Normann Copenhagen presents Friends Trivets, designed by Troels Øder Hansen vs. HuskMitNavn
The anonymous artist, HuskMitNavn, and designer Troels Øder Hansen have created a totally different and humorous design featuring four cork trivets for Normann Copenhagen. The Friends Trivets refer to the food on the table featuring a caricatured figure universe and comes in a pack with four trivets for chicken, pork, beef and fish.
Humour is the driving force behind Friends Trivets, which brings a smile to your friends' lips when they sit down at your table. The trivets are also robustly-constructed and thick and therefore perfect to raise hot saucepans and frying pans above the table. Troels Øder Hansen vs. HuskMitNavn say: "We wanted to give the traditional cork trivet a new lease of life. We work in the comic strip world and on the basis of the notion that things are more amusing when they are funny, which is reflected in Friends Trivets in an unpretentious way".
Troels Øder Hansen vs. HuskMitNavn, who both have backgrounds in the area of graffiti, have worked together for a number of years and have broken down the boundary between art and design. Friends Trivets is the first of a series of designs that the duo have created for Normann Copenhagen.
