Product description

Many and diverse slate claddings are summarised under the term 'Decorative Cladding' displaying their appeal particularly on the facade. With regard to the Decorative Claddings one differentiates between Spitzwinkel (pointed angle), Fischschuppen (fish scales) Waben (honeycombs) octagons and coquettes. Whilst the first three formats are primarily suitable for the optically interesting and varied design of the facade, octagons and coquettes can also be used on the roof. Here the laying principles are comparable to the ones of the rectangular cladding.

The origins of the company Rathscheck Schiefer date back far more than 200 years: In 1793 Johann Baptist Rathscheck founded the company of the same name that was taken over in 1904 by the group of companies Wilh. Werhahn. During the last decade the company developed into a European market leader. In Germany Rathscheck Schiefer is market leader with a clear lead. In spite of the considerable expansion during recent years the corporate structure has remained the one of a medium-sized company and it will continue like this.
