material description
With our real Stone-Veneer® exciting new design possibilities are available for architects and interior designers. Innovative lightweight core materials such as wood-composites or honeycomb panels are waiting for your imagination. Especially exciting is the natural combination of Stone and Wood.
The rough-split surface is a raw stone surface with the natural appearance and color schemes of different minerals, metal oxidants and corrosion enclosures. This natural playfulness of colours and shapes on the stone surface makes the Stone-Veneer® so interesting.
02 Technical Data
technical description
Light. Flexible. Ultra-thin. The first stone a woodworker can process. Stone-Veneer is a real stone from split slate rock.
The veneers are split in a thickness of 0,1 to approx. 2,0 mm from big stone plates. Polyester resin and glass fiber on the backside are holding the sheets together. The rough split surface and the changing colors make each sheet a unique piece and an adventure for the senses. Applications are the furniture industry, interior architecture, vehicles, ships, trade show exhibits, picture frames, electrical outlets etc. Let your fantasy play. No limits.
