2010 the design of the Cementum products Firetable, Table, Bench and Sunshade base repeats itself within a new series launched in 2010 called Cementum Light. Yet there is a different material than concrete in use, namely fibre cement. The material consists of the natural components: cement, crushed limestone, fibers, air and water. It is breathable and 100% recyclabe. Due to a scratch-proof surface coating it turns out to be extremely weather-resistant. Unlike any open porous concrete it is equipped with a high tech two-component coating that makes the material extremely resistant to scratches and influences of the weather.
The appeal of the entire Cementum Collection also lies in the modular construction principle that is so typical of VITEO: individual products can be combined both among each other as well as with parts of other collections .The Cementum Light Planter represents a new design in 2010 - it fits well into this collection and can either be used as a water basin (decorated with water-lilies or swimming candles) as well as a planter filled with soil and plants.
