It also received the sought-after DESIGN PLUS Award from Ambiente trade show in Frankfurt, the German Design Award 2012 by the German Design Council and it was exhibited at the London Design Museum in the “Designs of the Year 2012” selection. Which is hardly surprising. The seat shell is captured in a deep-drawn, thin sheet-steel frame. The result is a fascinatingly fluid and elegant form that is lightweight, comfortable, elastic and still stable. Over thirty combinations of frame colours and plastic- or textile-covered shells have turned Chassis into a versatile piece of furniture. The leather-upholstered models combine impressive elegance with soft seated comfort and excellent quality. Chairs for executive meetings, stylish conference rooms, or dining tables in homes.
