01 Material Profile
material description
The basic material of CON-PEARL® -sheets is a three-dimensionally moulded central sandwich layer on-to which a smooth plastic sheet is laminated on both sides. The thermal moulding of the central sandwich layer of thimbleshaped structure patterns creates numerous cavity spaces.
It is from this basic principle that the main product properties derive: extremely low weight, excellent rigidity and remarkable dampening properties. This combination - and the diversity of design forms - make CON-PEARL® the perfect material for many applications.

Each model is an interpretation
There’s a very close relationship between making architectural models and photography. A surprising discovery for Oliver Elser, curator of the exhibition “The Architectural Model – Tool, Fetish, Small Utopia”, at the Deutsches Architekturmuseum, Frankfurt. An interview by Nina Reetzke.
