Compact yet remarkably comfortable, Serener's Wendela chair blends simplicity of form with sophistication of materials and an old-meets-new design approach. The thin, flexible seat of layered beech wood, created from a mold originally produced in the 1950s, sits upon a contemporary aluminum base. The visible connection between the seat and base is a reference to the joinery used in traditional carpentry. Because it is both lightweight and waterproof, the Wendela works equally well indoors and outdoors. Choose a darker or lighter stain for the beech seat. The aluminum base comes in matte white, matte black or anodized gold. All color combinations work well together. Go for a uniform look or mix it up!
