A modular collection of seating which is both rigorous and convivial, Malhoun's success lies in the contrast between the pure geometry of its seat and feet, and the warm welcome afforded by its buttoned back and randomly-distributed back cushions. Its low, horizontal proportions, both in terms of the seat and the back, visually broaden its dimensions and give a striking impression of lightness.
