Understated and minimalist shapes, compact and squared volumes, close links with the Italian design arena and recognition worldwide: this in a few words is Living Divani, market leader in high-quality seating, the emblematic quintessence of the furniture industry in Italy’s Brianza region. Set up in the early seventies as a small unit to produce classical and modern upholstered furniture, Living Divani grew rapidly thanks to production policies founded on the quality of the materials and the crafted manufacture, and also thanks to enterprising commercial and distribution agreements. The turning point which brought Living Divani success is to be found in the strategic alliance with the architect Piero Lissoni: together they have created the unique Living Divani style, one born of a disciplined and coherent interpretation of changes in lifestyles and taste. In recent years Living Divani has been moving towards increasingly unobtrusive items, increasingly simplified and lightweight shapes, pared down in accordance with contemporary taste which prefers both minimalism and change.
