La edición limitada del Maharam Polder Sofa es un ejemplo destacado del talento único de Hella Jongerius en el área del diseño y los tejidos, en el que reúne a dos colaboradores con los que ha estado trabajando durante mucho tiempo: Vitra y Maharam. Los motivos vegetales realizados en las nuevas tonalidades cálidas y terrosas se extienden entre el respaldo plano y el asiento, dejando a la vista las texturas del tejido, que destacan los bordados de las colecciones de Hella Jongerius Layers y Borders. El conjunto se complementa con un almohadón adicional, confeccionado en un tejido creado por Hella Jongerius, y con Bovist, el puf decorativo de 2005. Ambos en colores a juego.

Uta Abendroth met with one half of the duo, Jay Osgerby, in Milan, where their sofas, tables and stool premiered at Knoll.

Colour Attack!
Loud colors, pastel hues and any amount of highlights. New, unusual color designs for tables, chairs and sofas really stimulated the eye in Milan. Following fashion’s suit. The best example is Vitra with a new color concept for its classics. From occasional contrasts to complete color harmony – the trend is definitely for interiors to become more colorful. And a good thing, too.
