A los niños siempre les ha gustado la Panton Chair por sus colores intensos y alegres y por sus agradables y suaves contornos: como mueble y como juguete. El propio Verner Panton siguió desde el principio la idea de desarrollar en colaboración con Vitra una versión para niños de la silla. Este proyecto, que fracasó hace más de 35 años por motivos económicos, por fin ha podido ver la luz. La silla Panton Junior se basa en los planos originales de Panton. Sin alterar el material ni sus proporciones, la Panton Junior resulta aproximadamente un cuarto más pequeña que el modelo convencional. Esto convierte la silla, con sus siete colores distintos, en un asiento ideal para niños en edad de guardería y escuela primaria.

Uta Abendroth met with one half of the duo, Jay Osgerby, in Milan, where their sofas, tables and stool premiered at Knoll.

Colour Attack!
Loud colors, pastel hues and any amount of highlights. New, unusual color designs for tables, chairs and sofas really stimulated the eye in Milan. Following fashion’s suit. The best example is Vitra with a new color concept for its classics. From occasional contrasts to complete color harmony – the trend is definitely for interiors to become more colorful. And a good thing, too.
