Reel enriches the Outdoor collection with a new versatile, casual element - a circular pouf,
in three sizes, designed by Atelier Oï. Placed on an aluminium frame, it winds thick black and
white polyethylene threads or natural fibre string like a ball. Low table or seat, Reel effectively
summarises the geometrical complexity and playful spirit of weaves.

18 million coins for the Underground
In 2012, Edward Barber uand Jay Osgerby caused quite a stir with their design for the Olympic torch. This year the two architects are placing a renewed emphasis on furniture design. Uta Abendroth met with one half of the duo, Jay Osgerby, in Milan, where their sofas, tables and stool premiered at Knoll.

Enjoying the material
In their inhouse Matériothèque the designers at Atelier Oï play around with materials such as birdseed, paper, fabric, ropes and gelatin. The resulting products for Atelier Pfister, Bulgari, Swatch and other manufacturers are now on display in the monograph “Workshop Guide Atelier Oï”.
