01 profil du produit

description de produit

By the unusual construction of CH 29 Wegner achieved a couple of advantages. First of all it made it possible to build a chair as sturdy as any traditional chair but with the use of fewer parts. Another advantage was the comfort, as the construction enabled him to make the seat wider in the front, which along with the heavily curved back made the chair extremely comfortable. The cutting out in the sides of the back, the pointed legs and the elaborate execution of the joint between forelegs and hind legs are details making the sawhorse chair a distinctive and sculptural piece of furniture.
Change of cover: Until the mid 90s change of cover had to be done in the factory. The construction however, has been modified so that the upholstered parts may be changed on location.
Use: CH 29 is mainly used in private dining environments but also restaurants have recognized its comfort in combination with its space saving dimensions. Thus the well-known Danish chain of restaurants, A Hereford Beefstouw, has chosen it for a number of their outlets - among others in Tivoli Garden in Copenhagen and in Hong Kong's new airport.

What a relief – The Milan marathon part 1

Milan 2013, a mixture of prudence, consolidation and solid design work. A little less hype and fewer prototypes, too. This is certainly doing the industry good.
