01 profil du produit
description de produit
A tactile, sophisticated fabric with a structure giving an opulent expression - the result is Vidar. First we started to develope a boucle yarn which should have the right twist, not too hard and still giving structure. After having found the right blend in 94% wool and 6% polyamide we started to experiment with different bindings. Finally we chose a "fantasy" binding which is a combination of different satin constructions woven on a jacqaurd loom. With a special finish with different kind of treatments we got a structured, but still soft fabric. The colour palet is huge with 40 different shades with special tints like roebock, stone red, pistage green and fuchsia. The colours have a strong individual expression but also match well with several of our designed fabrics like Oda, Frigg and Snorre. Vidar is the son of Odin the leading god in the Nordic mythology. Vidar is also known as the silent god, as he never speaks, even though he is not numb. He is predicted to be one of the few who survives the battle at the end of the world, Ragnarok, and will hereafter be appointed the leading god of the new and better world.

Carpets are back – imm Cologne Part 2
A trade fair consists of individual booths. However, this is not necessarily the best possible solution, as the new "Pure Textile" section demonstrates. There you will still find any number of light, fine, spring-fresh and elegant fabrics, but they are still all isolated. Moreover, one other thing is clear: tables and sofas are clawing their way back onto the carpet.
