01 profil du produit
description de produit
Star is a Trevira CS velour which is often seen as a luxurious and classic fabric used especially in theatres and often in the traditional “gala red”. Star is an interpretation of classic velour, with a short, closely cut pile in an unconventional colour palette. Finn Sködt created an all-new colour style that gives it a compact, sporty and luxurious appearance. This makes it highly suitable for theatres and concert halls (seating as well as stage curtains). With its fresh and almost luminescent palette, Star is also suitable for curtains and upholstery in private homes. As upholstery, Star looks as if it has been painted on. With its beautiful smooth surface, the fabric almost seems to recede into the background allowing the colour to interplay freely. The textile is therefore an optimum way of showing colours in all their clarity, and the obvious choice for a wide-ranging colour palette. Finn Sködt’s use of colour was inspired by the oil paintings of the Renaissance, particularly portraits of the Madonna depicting stunning drapery in shifting shades of red, blue and green and the Madonna clad in a heavy, soft cape of clear aquamarine velour.
