01 profil du produit
description de produit
During the decision-making process to purchase an upholstered sofa, comfort represents one of the most important variables, if not fundamental for a productʼs choice, even prior to the aesthetic factor. In conceiving this sofa, the designers, as they reflected about the good comfort level thinking about car seats, have set a goal, i.e. to combine the aesthetic-formal rigour of a home chair with top comfort for the end user.
The goal has been achieved by introducing a mechanism of the latest generation that allows for a highly precise electronic adjustment, of both the backrest and the seat, independent of each other.
Technological innovation turns the sofa, itself a static object, into a ʻdynamicʼ product with a playful content, capable of arousing emotions of surprise in the end user.
Varnished metal supporting structure, upholstery in variable density expanded polyurethane and cover in polyester wadding. H 15 cm leg with sled base in aluminium die-casting in polished finish or painted in the following colours: matt white or matt anthracite grey. Available in three sizes, with low backrest H68 or high backrest H80, fixed or movable.
Height-adjustable backrest and seat
An innovative electrically-controlled system allows to tilt the backrest and to increase the seat to adapt it to different comfort requirements. Height-adjustable backrest to –7cm (- 10°), while the seat can be adjusted to increase its depth up to +15 cm. The system consists of an electric motor, a battery, a transformer-motor control unit and a cordless radiofrequency remote control.
It works with a rechargeable battery.

Feeling for design
For over ten years now, Eva Paster and Michael Geldmacher have been creating classic industrial design, whereby since 2005 the focus has been on furniture. What makes the designs by the Munich duo who go by the name of Neuland stand out: the profound and logical approach, yet with an easy feel to it, characterized by a strong sense of rhythm and clear structures.
