Molteni&C renouvelle l'attention pour les maîtres de l'architecture et du design avec un projet de réédition de meubles et d'agencements dessinés par Gio Ponti, le grand maître du XXème siècle. Une collection de pièces est présentée à l'occasion du Salon du Meuble 2012, après un long parcours de recherche, de sélection et d'étude des prototypes, en collaboration et en exclusivité avec les héritiers Ponti. Certaines pièces ont été fabriquées uniquement pour des habitations privées ou en série limitée. La collection, réalisée avec la direction artistique du Studio Cerri & Associati, comprend les meubles et les éléments de décoration dessinés par Gio Ponti entre 1935 (chaise pour le premier Palazzo Montecatini) et les années 50 (bibliothèque, commode, tables basses, corniches et tapis pour Maison Ponti, Via Dezza à Milan, 1956-1957).
