Un sistema di tavoli di marmo come punto di arrivo di una ricerca sui mobili a incastro privi di giunzioni o serraggi: per i tavoli “Eros” la soluzione costruttiva prevede un incastro a gravità tra piano e gamba, ottenuto grazie alla sezione tronco-conica della gamba che accoglie facilmente il piano bloccandolo nella posizione stabilita, mentre il peso del materiale aumenta la tenuta dell’incastro e la stabilità dell’intera struttura. Un sistema immaginato con molteplici forme e dimensioni differenti, ognuna con un punto di incastro peculiare, e dove l’elegante disegno delle asole aperte sui perimetri e agli angoli dei piani è determinato dall’eliminazione della parti più fragili che non avrebbero resistito alle sollecitazioni: dettaglio sofisticato e chiave di lettura di una vera invenzione costruttiva.
