For a coffee in the Rog
04 May 2011
The new cafeteria is based in an old building with vaulted ceiling and old arched windows with beautiful view on the river Ljubljanica. In the restaurant dark and bright tones are exchanging. Lighter colors are chosen for the seats, cupboards and benches and the darker for the leather desk, wall and flooring. The Slovenian architects of Aksl Arhitekti have designed the interior of the café. The interior design aimed on a preservation of the memory of the former bicycle factory “Rog”, which produced bicycles for many years on the area. Therefore the graphic designer Saša Kerkoš made subtle sketches of imaginary bikes, sketched on the black walls with white chalk. www.aksl.org
