01 profilo di prodotti
descrizione del prodotto
FK05 CHARLOTTE is the second from a series of coffee tables, designed in 1951 by Ferdinand Kramer® during his time in America. Named after his friend, the artist Charlotte Poseneske, the round coffee table FK05 CHARLOTTE bares sculptural qualities grounded in enduring and contemporary relevance. Similar to a clothing pattern, the table's components are cut out of a single plywood sheet. The easily invertible and collapsible FK05 CHARLOTTE is also part of Ferdinand Kramer's® successful "Knock-Down" series. The measurements of the base are identical to those of the square FK04 CALVERT. Its round table top however makes FK05 CHARLOTTE the larger of the two coffee tables. FK05 CHARLOTTE is available in oak or walnut veneer as well as coloured lacquer.

Colour Attack!
Loud colors, pastel hues and any amount of highlights. New, unusual color designs for tables, chairs and sofas really stimulated the eye in Milan. Following fashion’s suit. The best example is Vitra with a new color concept for its classics. From occasional contrasts to complete color harmony – the trend is definitely for interiors to become more colorful. And a good thing, too.

No, there was no revolt. Even Ventura Lambrate had nothing on offer that even came close to a taste of the future. Instead it was above all Konstantin Grcic who once again showed just what contemporary design can do.

Milan 2013, a mixture of prudence, consolidation and solid design work. A little less hype and fewer prototypes, too. This is certainly doing the industry good.
