Gira TX_44 is a switch range for an unusually broad range of extremely different applications: It is not only suitable for installation in damp rooms and outdoors water-protected to IP 44, but because it is made of especially robust material, is protected against theft and has a reinforced cover frame is also suitable for more demanding applications. It also has an especially large, water-protected installable function depth via the integration of the System 55 inserts, for both data connection technology and bus technology.
The battery-operated key can simply stay in the pocket, it transmits its signal automatically depending on the setting starting from 1.5 or 0.75 metres to the door. If this is not desired due to security reasons, operation can be switched to short-range function. The reading distance is then approximately 6 cm, as with the passive transponder card which is additionally available and only works in the immediate area.
