Con il progetto Bend, famiglia di sedute ideata dal duo tedesco Jehs+Laub (Markus e Jurgen), MDF Italia si aggiudica, per il secondo anno consecutivo, l'Interior Innovation Award 2012, uno dei più prestigiosi riconoscimenti nel settore dell'arredamento e del design. Il premio, istituito nel 2002 da Imm Cologne e organizzato con "Rat fur Formgebun/ German Design Council", viene assegnato annualmente a quei prodotti delle aziende espositrici che hanno saputo distinguersi per il carattere innovativo del progetto.
Bend si caratterizza per la linea semplice ed elegante della struttura di grande sobrietà, robustezza e dalla forte connotazione hi-tech.
Seduta versatile in termini di destinazioni d'uso, Bend si presta ad essere inserita in un contesto domestico - soggiorno, cucina, angolo studio - in un ambiente lavorativo - uffici manageriali, meeting room - e in spazi pubblici - ristoranti, caffetterie, sale di ricevimento, d'attesa.
A seconda della tipologia, la sedia assume un carattere ed un'estetica diversa rispondendo alle molteplici esigenze del mercato ed alle diverse finalità di utilizzo.
