“Le librerie contengono varie tipologie di libri dalla diversa altezza, larghezza,dimensione, colore, contenuto…..in questa molteplicità abbiamo scoperto il ritmo, gli ingredienti per una melodia. Ogni singolo elemento è una nota musicale. L’andamento irregolare e degradante dei ripiani del singolo modulo trova continuità nel modulo successivo dando vita ad una sinfonia. Nello sviluppare Melody ci siamo sentiti più dei compositori che non dei designer; progettare Melody è stato come comporre una melodia non disegnare un prodotto. Melody è l’opera per l’abitazione e voi gli spettatori” così i designer commentano il percorso progettuale di Random 08.
Realizzata in pannelli di fibra di legno a media densità laccati bianco goffrato (spessore 8mm.). I vani predefiniti dalle diverse posizioni dei ripiani permettono l'inserimento anche di libri di grandi dimensioni. Il modulo unico è sempre reversibile verticalmente al fine di dare discontinuità orizzontale ai ripiani. Per accostamento è possibile realizzare configurazioni di grandi dimensioni.

Feeling for design
For over ten years now, Eva Paster and Michael Geldmacher have been creating classic industrial design, whereby since 2005 the focus has been on furniture. What makes the designs by the Munich duo who go by the name of Neuland stand out: the profound and logical approach, yet with an easy feel to it, characterized by a strong sense of rhythm and clear structures.
