The point of origin for the couch was to create a comfortable and inviting element, witch the user can personalize. The basic idea for this is a scale that creates space with a strong contrast between external and internal. The external body has a light, floating contemporary form that creates a inviting internal space witch can be decorated in a formal or informal way by the 'resident'. This in-outside contrast of the 'Gino' gives the flexibility to play with a mixture of different materials and color combinations through witch every implementation gets a personal and timeless character. Thanks to the fancy form that sticks out of it's back, the 'Gino' lends himself well to be placed in open space. 'Gino' is a timeless design product with a cute but, "beauty at the back".
