L'edizione limitata del Maharam Polder Sofa è un eccellente esempio del talento unico nel suo genere di Hella Jongerius per design e tessuti, per un progetto a cui collaborano congiuntamente i suoi partner di lunga data Vitra e Maharam. I motivi botanici, dalle nuove tonalità calde color terra, si diramano tra il poggiatesta piatto e il sedile e le tessiture sono messe in scena, accentuando i tessuti ricamati delle collezioni Layers e Borders di Hella Jongerius. Ad integrazione sono disponibili un cuscino supplementare realizzato con una stoffa di Hella Jongerius e Bovist, il puf decorativo creato nel 2005 dalla designer olandese in colori combinati.
