Stark contrasts
Looking back again at the Salone del Mobile in Milan – and it is the black-and-white contrasts that really stand out, bringing an Sixties aesthetics to mind.
French Label “La Chance” recently presented its first collection of furniture and lighting, “Jekyll & Hyde”. True to its literary role model, each object has a contrasting counterpart.
For one week a year, during the Salone del Mobile, Milan becomes a fairground, springboard and experimental lab all rolled into one. But with a little luck, there is indeed a small piece of paradise to be found somewhere in this rowdy setting. Taking a systematic approach to the fair won't help you here, but a passion for discovery just might.
