Ingo Maurer‘s Munich Subway Trilogy

Will the Munich underground soon become a popular attraction for architecture- and design enthusiasts? Local lighting designer Ingo Maurer has already illuminated and designed three underground stations in the Bavarian capital. More recently the "Münchner Freiheit" station re-opened.Parallel to the Light+Building fair, April also sees the fifth Luminale in Frankfurt and surroundings; the festival invites lighting enthusiasts to embark on an evening journey of discovery through the illuminated city. Lighting installations by artists, designers and architects transform public spaces into a fascinating platform for experiments with lighting.

Stylepark or In the Midst of the World of Design
At this year's Light+Building fair Stylepark has presented itself in the new Hall 11 of Messe Frankfurt.You were able to admire light in virtually any possible form and appearance at the Light+Building trade fair in Frankfurt. And in particular the LEDs offered in all conceivable variations caused a sensation this year. Yet, many designers still have difficulties with the Copernican Revolution in favor of these tiny lights.
