Last year the Berlin-based designers MurkenHansen placed circular tableaux with different diameters on conical plinth elements – thereby creating occasional tables which go with practically any upholstered furniture. Now they have developed a large table which turns not only gatherings of family and friends, but also conferences and meetings, into a "real round table". The innovative form is matched by an equally novel material: the table top and central plinth are cast out of Cristalplant – a unique compound which consists to a large extent of natural materials. Models: round or oval, available in all RAL colours.
