Chris Jackson graduated from Buckinghamshire Chilterns University in 2002 with an MA in Furniture Design and Technology, after completing a BA (Hons) in Furniture and Product Design at Nottingham Trent University.

Since starting ‘Northwards’ design studio in 2002, Chris has designed the ‘Line Light’ (launched by Innermost earlier this year), an installation for the inaugural London Design Festival 2003, a retail interior on London’s Carnaby Street, as well as winning the Promosedia International Chair Design Competition 2003 (with Peter Mac Cann).
Northwards is currently developing new lighting
ideas for Innermost, and was been working on a number of new products for Habitat to be launched AW05 and SS06.

2005 will also see the launch of a range of new furniture at the Milan Furniture Fair, as well as numerous collaborations with other leading
designers and manufacturers.
