The Gira Control Clients 9 and 19 are touch screen PCs for controlling the KNX installation via the Gira HomeServer 3 or the Gira FacilityServer. Its equipment with microphone and loudspeaker allow the devices to be used as home stations for audio-visual door communication, too. The functions of the door intercom are simply integrated into the Gira Interface via a plug-in for the Gira HomeServer 3 or Gira FacilityServer.
The Gira Control Client is linked to the Gira door communication via the Gira DCS-IP-gateway, which converts the signals of the Gira door communication system to the network protocol level (IP). In this way the Gira Keyless In
Fingerprint, Transponder and Keypad components can be integrated, and intelligent links of any type can be created with the functions of the KNX system. For example, opening the door can be coupled with
switching on the light or heating.
In addition, it is also possible to use the Gira Control Clients as a home station aided by special software, the DCS Communicator, even without the HomeServer 3 and FacilityServer. Functions such as creating user groups, distributing rights or personalising ringing tones open up flexible possibilities for individualisation.
