The city of Shiraz with its gardens, tombs of the poets and the ancient Persepolis,is situated in the Fars province which lead to the name of the country Persia, today’s Iran. Patterns tend to be big medallions, strong reds and brown are the most typical colour of Shiraz rugs, Hossein Rezvani has given this traditional design a contemporary twist. Shiraz is offered with a knot density of 400.000 knots per sqm, Persian highland wool with 25% pure natural silk.
