At a first glance this chair might appear to be an ordinary wooden chair, but if you look closer, the complexity of the design will gradually dawn on you. Sitting in this chair, you will experience not only its comfort, but also the joy of discovering its subtle and elegant details.

The market is filled with classic wooden chairs that remain fresh and that work very well; so when designing this chair I was not following a new language, it would have been pretentious on my part. Especially so, in Scandinavia. A chair is an interplay of interconnected elements and this project raises the connection of all the parts in a way that is not common now and was not possible in the past, says Mario Ruiz.
