They are extremely light and flexible, yet strong and good looking. Suitcases made of thin vacuum- formed plastic sheets have revolutionised an entire product species. As a furniture designer I was struck by the ingenuity of this technology, considering how appropriate it was to the production and performance of modern chair shells. The creative potential seemed obvious. However, translating it into a successful formula for a chair took time and learning. With CUP we have developed an elegant geometry for the shell, which combines structural strength with a high degree of flexibility and lightness. The upholstered inside of the shell adds a well-balanced ergonomic quality to the chair, making it a perfect choice for conference situations, waiting and dining areas. The shell in black or white plastic can be com-bined with an infinite range of fabrics and colours, depending on whether it has to blend with the environment or to be the protagonist. The CUP collection consists of a small armchair, lounge chair and stackable tables. Lounge tables. Metal structure in chrome or black powder coated. Table top in high pressure laminate (HPL) in various finishings and colours. ![Plank CUP tables 05](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/Plank_CUP_tables_05.jpg)![Plank CUP lounge 03 190416 104041](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/Plank_CUP_lounge_03_190416_104041.jpg)![Plank CUP lounge 05 190416 104043](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/Plank_CUP_lounge_05_190416_104043.jpg)![Plank CUP tables 01](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/Plank_CUP_tables_01.jpg) ![Plank CUP lounge 04 190416 104042](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/Plank_CUP_lounge_04_190416_104042.jpg)![Plank CUP lounge 02 190416 104039](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/Plank_CUP_lounge_02_190416_104039.jpg)![Plank CUP tables 03](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/Plank_CUP_tables_03.jpg)![Plank CUP tables 04](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/Plank_CUP_tables_04.jpg) - Angebot anfordern - [Produktinfo beim Hersteller](https://www.plank.it/produkte/tische/cup-lounge-table/) - [Webseite des Herstellers](https://www.plank.it/) Alle Cup Produkte - [![Cup Beistelltische](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_350x225_crop_center-center_none/Plank_CUP_tables_02.jpg)](https://www.stylepark.com/de/plank/cup-beistelltische) - [![Cup Lounge Sessel](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_350x225_crop_center-center_none/Plank_CUP_lounge_011_190416_102932.jpg)](https://www.stylepark.com/de/plank/cup-lounge-sessel) - [![Cup Sessel](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/manufacturers/_350x225_crop_center-center_none/cup-sessel_DSC6966.jpg)](https://www.stylepark.com/de/plank/cup-sessel) - [Alle Produkte von Plank @ Stylepark](https://www.stylepark.com/de/produkte/hersteller/plank) - [Plank @ Stylepark](https://www.stylepark.com/de/hersteller/plank) Passende Artikel zu Plank [STYLEPARK PLANK Architektur zum Sitzen 08.09.2026 Mit "Theo" übersetzen Matteo Thun und Benedetto Fasciana den Klappstuhl in die Gegenwart.
