Revival vs. Innovation

The grand review: These are the trends and highlights of this year's Milan furniture fair.
With his erice chair, Alfredo Häberli revisits the essential style and clean lines of his segesta and selinunte collection to create a new shape, with a personality of its own. A distinctive trait is the hole in the back, which ensures elasticity and comfort. The exterior profile of the shell recalls the inner shape of the hole, engendering an impression of movement and balance. Erice is available in a wide choice of base structures: 4 legs, sledge, on wheels, cross shaped, wooden, as well as a new trestle-like version with 4 conified legs. The shell, made from plastic material, offers a choice of colours: white, sand, beige, light blue. Highly comfortable is the soft version with cushions in shaped polyurethane and regenerated leather support, or upholstered with Dacron® covered with Kvadrat® fabric, leather or synthetic leather, and secured to the shell by means of snap fasteners.
