This new light silk “tweed” is a deceptively understated textile with a small raised boucle effect on a plain spun silk background. Matter than the other silks in the collection, it is fresher yet still elegant. The inspiration comes from these tailoring fabrics used extensively by Dior and Balanciaga for suits in the Fifties.
