INFINITO bookcase (1956/57)
The ability to industrially produce each furniture element in series allows for a variety of possible solutions for its composition, from its load-bearing structural parts to its other components.
The structure, which requires no wall fixation, can offer two sides for holding books, as well as other storage solutions.
The objective of Franco Albini's design is to make the assembly and dismantling of the elements straightforward and almost always leads to new technical and construction values with extensive esthetic expressiveness, in which the apparent simplicity conceals complex and refined manufacturing solutions.
